The Turbo head is designed for use on carpets and rugs to give them a deep clean.
The brushes inside this floor tool are spun using the air flow to drive an impellor and belt. This spinning action beats the carpets so you get the dirt that is trapped deeper down.
 
It is also great for vacuuming pet hair that can become embedded into the carpet fibres.
 
Shag pile carpet may cause the Turbo Head to "bog down" and spin at a slower rate. This will not give you the clean you are looking for.
 
This floor tool isnt recommended for use on the older power units as the air flow may not be sufficient to keep the brushes spinning. If its not spinning fast its not doing the job.
