The metal curved wand is our more populare curved wand. 
You attach this item to your hose by twisting it anti-clockwise (reverse thread). The curved wand then connects into the telescopic wand.
On the top of the curved wand there is an air vent that can be used to adjust the strenght of your suction coming through your floor tool. This is handy if you are vacuuming very thick pile carpects or something more delicate like your curtains and need the suction to be lower than normal.
For the best suction leave the air vent closed.
